Six weeks. Six beautiful pieces. One summer wardrobe you’ll actually wear.

Create a fresh, wearable summer wardrobe while building your sewing skills one garment at a time.

Over six weeks, you’ll work through a carefully curated collection of summer bottoms, a wrap blouse, a summer dress, a wrap skirt and a knit top — with a choice of styles so you can create pieces that suit your body, your wardrobe and your personal style.

Designed to be made in a day

Every garment in the Summer Essentials Series has been carefully selected so that it can realistically be completed in approximately six hours — from selecting and cutting your commercial pattern through to construction, fitting, pressing and finishing.

Your workshop day runs from 08:30–16:30, giving you more time than the expected six-hour make.

That extra time is intentional.

It gives you the freedom to work at a comfortable pace, ask questions, practise new techniques and enjoy the process without feeling rushed. If you can only arrive at 09:00, you still have plenty of time. And if you finish your garment early, you’re free to head home with your finished piece.

Choose the day that works for you

Each weekly workshop is offered on a Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Simply choose the day that works best for your schedule.

You’ll receive a commercial pattern, choose the size and style you want to make, and spend the day sewing with full studio guidance and support.

And in Week 6, we do something completely different.

Bring one of your favourite garments from home — that piece you always reach for because you love the shape, fit or style — and learn how to recreate it, so you can make it again in the fabrics and colours you love.
